Torquay Rainbow House

Rainbow Living purchased its second Rainbow House in 2012. The house was fully refurbished and now provides a home for five tenants, ranging in age from 30 to 40.

The house has communal space, including a lounge and large kitchen/dining area; tenants have individual bedrooms and bathrooms, and there is separate sleeping and bathroom facilities for support staff. There is a courtyard garden and the house is within walking distance to the beach.

Moving into the Torquay Rainbow House provided this group of learning disabled adults an opportunity to move out of the family home for the first time. As in the Exeter Rainbow House, our Torquay Rainbow tenants are supported in their daily lives by Christian care provider Livability.

We have local contacts in Torbay to support maintenance issues but Rainbow Living is responsible for ensuring the property is well-maintained.
